About the job

As a Software Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering solutions to the many technical and functional challenges we face. You’ll be developing code as well as infrastructure as code and test automation. We are looking for someone with a knack for Frontend Development but also not too shy to dig into the backend when required.

What you’ll do

• Develop software solutions.
• Participate in all parts of the SDLC from solution design to testing.
• Deliver solutions that are of high quality in terms of features, scalability, and maintainability.
• Champion continuous improvement for our Software Engineering Practice.
• Working with business representatives on grooming stories to meet customer needs.
• Taking a security-first mindset across everything you do.
• Working on tests to ensure the quality of the work that you do.
• Present ideas and concepts to stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

• An ability to problem-solve and deliver technical and non-technical business solutions.
  
• A passion for software engineering.
  
• A disciplined approach to delivering uncompromising quality.
  
• A test-driven approach to software development
  

Technical bits

• Passion for developing UX interfaces.
• Angular development experience or other mainstream SPA development frameworks.
  
• Java or Nodeor Python expertise.
  
• Exposure to containerisation (Docker, K8S, ECR, AKS).
  
• Experience with cloud computing and building modern pipelines is preferred.
  
• A relevant tertiary qualification
