Retail Sales Manager
Turners Group NZ Ltd is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we're very proud to have been helping Kiwi's buy and sell used vehicles for over 50 years.
We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Retail Sales Manager to lead our well established team in Hamilton. This is a key role where you will be pivotal to the branch’s success by actively supporting and developing a sales team and successfully delivering on our challenging growth strategies.
You will need to demonstrate leadership excellence with a substantial team, including coaching, developing and generally getting the best out of your people. A sales management background and proven track record of consistently delivering results is crucial for success. Financial literacy, people management and excellent relationship building skills are essential.
Your proven track record, ability to motivate and hit targets via the team and your ability to adapt to a changing environment are the most vital attributes you will bring. Commercially astute with strong negotiation skills, you think big picture and build sustainable and win-win relationships with key clients.
A background in the industry would be advantageous although not essential but key to your success will be the ability to get out and lead from the front. This demanding and challenging role is a terrific opportunity to make a significant impact on an established and reputable organisation.
In addition to this, our successful candidate will have:
- Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ supervisory/management experience in a sales environment;
- Proven successful sales record, target and results focused, with a proven ability to win business
- Computer literate, confidence in using Outlook, Word & Excel;
- A full/clean Driver License
This business operates seven days per week, so flexibility to work weekends is a key expectation and requirement of this position.
An excellent base salary plus generous incentives along with ongoing training and company benefits (including Southern Cross Health Insurance) are on offer for the successful candidate.
