Operations Assistant

Who would suit this role?

An eager and hardworking person that’s looking to step into the Trucks & Machinery industry. If you have a few years’ experience under your belt and are seeking a new part time opportunity (2-3 days per week) then this would be a job for you.

What does this role entail?

This is a pivotal role for the Turners family and involves day-to-day operational tasks which includes:

  • Writing up and photographing of trucks & machinery
  • Assisting customers with enquiries
  • Assisting with pre and post-sale activities
  • Meeting and exceeding customer needs
  • Carrying out assessments on goods
  • Moving Trucks and Machinery onsite
  • Assisting with monitoring stock levels
  • Unloading and loading of cars by forklift
  • Helping to maintain a tidy yard

What do we need from you?

  • Mechanical knowledge
  • Truck and machinery experience
  • Able to operate an i-pad and basis computer systems
  • Forklift, Truck and WTR licences would be an advantage
  • Ability to talk to people, follow processes and instructions
  • Team player
