Operations Assistant/Vehicle Inspector

Who would suit this role?

We’re looking for someone with solid life and work experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in high standards. You may come from an operations, logistics, automotive, or similar environment.

You’re reliable, organised, and confident working in a team, with a strong customer focus and attention to detail. If you enjoy variety, can communicate well, and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves, this role will suit you.

What does the role entail?

This is a varied, hands-on role supporting both operations and vehicle inspections:

• Inhouse grooming of vehicles preparing them for sale
• Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of vehicles advertised for sale
• Decal removals and general vehicle preparation
• Assisting in presenting sold vehicles to customers
• Supporting vehicle inspections and completing accurate, timely reporting
• Coordinating vehicle bookings, movements, collections, and deliveries
• Assisting with stock control and site presentation
• Providing helpful customer support and maintaining a safe, tidy environment
• Potential to cross train into other operational areas

What do we need from you?

• Full or Restricted Licence
• Experienced in an operational, automotive, or hands-on role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Customer focused and ability to relate to people of all backgrounds
• Legal right to work in NZ as defined by NZ immigration
• Ability to multitask
