Logistics Officer

We are looking for a dynamic Logistics Officer to join our Penrose team.  Your role will be to lead and develop a team of Operation Assistants, ensuring the team as a whole achieves and exceeds agreed service levels for the branch. This role will be pivotal in maintaining and developing a service orientated culture, ensuring that customers receive the best possible service at all times.

You will be the sort of person who prides themselves in being able to offer high levels of customer service and to build and maintain positive working relationships.  Attention to detail and a full, clean drivers license are a must-have.

In addition, the successful candidate should also possess the following: 

  • At least 3 years’ experience in an Operations Supervisory role;
  • Experience and ability to lead a team;
  • The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
  • Computer literate with excellent communication skills;
  • Relevant qualifications, ie/ Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering and/or Graduate Diploma in Production & Operations Management.

This business operates seven days per week, so flexibility to work weekends is a key expectation and requirement of this position.
