Junior Valuer

Turners Group NZ Ltd is part of the Turners Automotive Group and we're very proud to have been helping Kiwi's buy and sell used vehicles for over 50 years and titled New Zealand's largest seller of Trucks & Machinery.  The Junior Valuer will be responsible for assisting with the completion of valuations of trucks, plant and machinery. This will involve the initial appraisal of equipment, research in specifications and value, compiling full written report on findings and liaising with vendors.

What does the role entail?

• Inspect and record details of assets to be valued
• Work out the value of assets
• Carry out further research to determine the correct value of assets and provide relevant supporting data
• Provide up-to-date market advice about the value of assets
• Write reports on assets and their value and advise clients
• Keep accurate files for reference
• Keep up to date market data / comparisons

What do we need from you?

• Attention to detail and an ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office suite
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High level of customer service
• Able to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure
• Class 1 full licence
