Who would suit this role?

We're excited to have opened our brand-new Trucks & Machinery branch in Drury, and we're looking for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to lead this exciting new chapter. This is a unique opportunity to build, lead and grow a high-performing team from the ground up while establishing our presence in one of New Zealand's fastest-growing regions.

Whether you've come from an automotive background or another industry, what we're really looking for is someone with exceptional interpersonal skills, plenty of energy, and a passion for making things happen every day. Even better if you love heavy equipment!

What does the role entail?

• Leading and establishing our brand-new Drury Trucks & Machinery branch, creating a positive and high-performing team culture.
• Actively supporting, coaching and mentoring direct reports to ensure objectives and targets are achieved.
• Maintaining and developing a service-oriented culture, ensuring customers receive the best possible experience.
• Managing key customer relationships with both buyers and vendors.
• Ensuring effective sales and sales training programmes are implemented for new and existing employees.
• Driving operational excellence and business growth across the branch.

What do we need from you?

• Previous leadership experience, preferably in a sales environment.
• Proven ability to achieve targets and deliver results through your team.
• Strong motivation, coaching and influencing skills.
• A confident, energetic personality with excellent relationship-building ability.
• A passion for developing people and creating a strong team culture.
• The drive and ambition to make a new branch a success.
